Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Aimee Seidman also has enhanced qualifications in geriatrics. She completed her undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and earned her medical degree at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Seidman trained in internal medicine at the Washington Hospital Center from 1987-1990, where she received the Saul Zuckerman Humanitarianism in Medicine award.
Dr. Seidman joined the teaching faculty at Walter Reed Army Medical Center from 1990-1994. She then returned to the Washington Hospital Center as faculty, and taught from 1994-1999. In 1995, she was elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). She left academia in 1999 and established Rockville Concierge Doctors in 2006.
Dr. Seidman was the medical director of Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland from 2006-2022, and served in the same position at Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville for four years. She has been recognized as a "Top Doc" in Washingtonian magazine every year since 2002, and also by Washington Checkbook magazine.
Dr. Seidman is married and has two children as well as a beloved dog Casey. She is also a contributor to ladydocscornercafe.com, a group of female physicians devoted to exercise, nutrition, and wellness.
